Biography
Claire Holland earned her B. A. and B. Ed. at Glendon College and has worked in the Toronto District School Board in the capacity of classroom teacher, Reading Recovery teacher, Arts prep provider and Literacy Coach. She has developed curriculum resources and facilitated professional development opportunties for teachers around a number of subjects including: Critical Literacy, Financial Literacy, the Global Competencies, integrating Drama and Dance into the content areas, finding entry points into Drama and Dance, structuring and supporting student inquiry, using the survey as a research tool and reframing non-fiction reports through an inquiry lens. Claire pursued a Masters in Education at OISE/UT with a focus on curriculum, teaching and learning.
