International Study Tour - Paris and Nice, France

Join a group of senior education leaders from across Canada, as well as national and international experts in global issues that impact education, for a unique educational experience for a 2-week certificate program for senior education leaders.


THE PROGRAM

Offered to Directors of Education, Superintendents, University Deans, College Presidents, Deputy Ministers and other senior educational administrators, the program consists of 20 hours of presentations, discussions and an opportunity to met and dialogue with senior leaders, including OECD senior staff in Paris.

It will be organized around themes that are having, and will have, significant implications for education, not only in Canada but worldwide. These include: the impact of globalization; changing demographics; changing labour market demands, sustainable development; and, advances in technology.

Participants will also dialogue with senior educators from school systems, and universities from other countries, through Skype or in person.

The results of the presentations and the contributions of the participants will be captured on video and in a White Paper. This will form the basis of a national learning community with the goal of promoting innovative policies and programs that will contribute to student success.
