As a learning community dedicated to the ongoing career and professional development of educators, we offer courses, conferences, partnerships and events that provide teachers and other educational leaders a multitude of options to continually and actively engage in learning throughout their career. Delivered by seasoned professionals from the field of education and grounded in the most current research and practice, our courses have a number of distinctive features.
Our AQ/ABQ courses contain a unique balance of evidence-informed content and meaningful inquiry, which allows teachers to explore questions related to personal and professional needs and to promote reflective practice.
York University offers innovative, university-based leadership courses which are developed and taught by experienced and practicing Principals. In our PQP courses the emphasis is placed on equity, reflective practice and critical action research.
Designed to meet the needs of education professionals, our AQ, ABQ and PQP programs are available in class and fully or partially on line. Take in class courses that are offered in a variety of convenient locations across the GTA. Or learn on-line 24/7 in a self-directed and collaborative learning environment.
