Equipment Lending Program



Description

Apple MacBooks, PC Laptops, response clickers, digital photo cameras, video cameras, and tripods available for short term loan. 

Policies for checkout

  1. Equipment is only available for Faculty of Education Teacher Candidates, faculty and staff.
  2. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  3. Teacher Candidates must present two forms of ID at the time of checkout.  One form must be your York University YU-card ID.

Policies for Return

  1. All equipment must be returned to the Education ITS Winters College location where it was checked out from.
  2. The borrower may be held responsible for the replacement or cost of damaged or lost equipment.
  3. If any equipment or any of its components are not returned, it may be considered theft of University property and a police investigation may be initiated.
  4. Additional equipment cannot be borrowed if damaged, lost, or un-returned equipment has not been accounted for.

Loan Periods

Short term equipment loans are for a period of two weeks.


When returning equipment, allow about 10 minutes for the lab attendant to check the equipment and check the equipment into the system.  All items are due back one hour before the lab closes on the date due.
