Candidates are considered for admission on the basis of education-related experience, academic achievement, communication abilities and personal characteristics relevant to teaching in the field.

The program is offered tuition free to eligible Ontario candidates. Out-of-province applicants are charged regular university tuition fees. Candidates are required to pay for course materials, text books, field trips, transportation to York University, and practicum related costs.
Non-refundable application fee: $50.00
For full and part time candidates there is an associated course fee of $175.00 for the Language and Literacy Development course and an associated course fee of $175.00 for the Educational Audiology course.
Application deadline for the full and part time program is March 15th.
