Professor and Jean Augustine Chair in Education, Community and Diaspora Carl James says, "when assessing the school, it’s important to look beyond just test scores. We must use other measures, especially when the idea for establishing the school is based on addressing the educational needs of students, taking into account their cultural and social backgrounds."
