Set up email on an Apple device

Note: To ensure a problem-free configuration, please update your device to the latest version of iOS. More information

1. From your device home screen, tap Settings.

2. Remove existing account. From Settings, tap Accounts & Passwords, tap your account name, scroll to the bottom and delete account.

3. Add Office 365 account. In Accounts & Passwords, then Add Account and choose Microsoft Exchange.

4. Enter your yorku.ca email address. The format is passportyorkusername@yorku.ca (e.g. jsmith@yorku.ca). Tap 'Next' then 'Sign In'.

5. Enter your Passport York password and tap 'Sign in'. Accept the iOS Accounts permissions.

Synchronizing contacts, calendars, etc. to your mobile device

We recommend the default setting, where all items are synced.
